Assistant Principal - Tony Bello
Mr. Patrick Anthony Bello “Tony” is a proud husband and father of three children and grandfather of five. He and his wife Brandy, enjoy coastal living with family playing golf, playing music, and boating. Mr. Bello is a third-generation educator. Growing up in a military family, he spent most of his childhood in Goldsboro, NC, just outside of Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. He attended Goldsboro High School then Appalachian State University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology Education. Upon graduation, Mr. Bello accepted a position as the Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) Teacher at West Carteret High School in Morehead City, NC. In 2007 he was awarded the North Carolina Teacher of the year from the North Carolina Association of Career and Technical Education (NCACTE). While teaching at West Carteret, Mr. Bello earned a Master of Science Degree in Trade and Industrial Education from North Carolina A&T University. He then earned North Carolina State Certification as a Career Development Facilitator. He then served as a Career Development Coordinator (CDC) for three years at Havelock High School in Craven County Schools. He then served as a Career and Technical Education (CTE) Curriculum and Instructional Management Coordinator (CIMC) at the district level. In 2019, Mr. Bello served as a CIMC with Onslow County Schools until accepting the Assistant Principal position at Clyde Erwin Elementary School in Jacksonville, NC, where he is currently employed.
Mr. Bello mentioned “I am so happy to have the opportunity to work with elementary students for the first time. With all my experience supporting high school and middle school, I look forward to a new challenge of growing professionally and spiritually with the Eagle Family.”
